J. Crew is being attacked on Twitter for any image featuring a black product with “irresponsibly styled” natural hair.

The image on J. Crew’s website reveals a product which has a “messy bun” donning a sweater-dress. Atlanta-based make-up artist Dae Louise took problem with all the styling in the model’s hair and tweeted out, “J.Crew…girl…ya’ll completely wrong,” that has because long gone viral with over ten,000 retweets and 400 opinions.

The responses have primarily agreed with Louise that the hairstylist merely did not understand tips on how to style black hair.

Other folks, meanwhile, have defended the brand name, expressing that all of J. Crew’s types are sporting the same “messy” look. Some buyers even posted photos of other gals in J. Crew catalogues with equivalent hair style.
